Send your written request or legal query to our dedicated policy address. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve most data and terms queries within five business days of receipt.

How stakes Handles Data and Account Security

From the moment your account is created, stakes applies layered security and documented data practices.

Data Storage and Encryption

All personal data — including your name, email, and payment references from UPI or Paytm transactions — is stored on encrypted servers. We do not store full payment credentials; only tokenised references are kept for transaction matching.

Cookie Controls

Our cookie policy distinguishes between strictly necessary cookies, which keep your session active, and analytics cookies, which you can decline. You manage your cookie preferences from the footer of any page on stakes.buzz at any time.

Account Security Layers

Stakes applies two-factor authentication at login and flags unusual sign-in patterns — such as a new device in Chennai after prior activity on a different network — for a secondary verification step before access is granted.

Data Retention Schedule

We keep account records for as long as your account remains active, plus the statutory period required by applicable law. When that period ends, records are permanently deleted — not archived or resold to third parties.

How to Request Changes to Your Data

Log in, go to Account Settings, and select the Privacy section to download your stored data or flag an inaccuracy. For erasure requests, use the secure upload portal so your request is logged with a reference number.

Our terms specify the governing jurisdiction in the legal document published on this page. Where local Indian law conflicts with or modifies those terms, local law takes precedence for accounts held by Indian residents where local law permits.

Go to Account Settings, then Privacy, and select the data-download option. Your data package — including login history, transaction references and profile details — is compiled and sent to your registered email within 72 hours.

Yes. Submit a deletion request via the secure upload portal referenced in the Support section. We process erasure within 30 days and confirm completion by email. Statutory retention obligations may require us to keep certain records beyond that window.

We store your name, email address, date of birth, device identifiers and tokenised payment references from UPI, Paytm or PhonePe transactions. We do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs — those never pass through our servers.

We send an email to your registered address before any material change to the terms takes effect. The email summarises what has changed and the date it applies. Continued use of your account after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We use session cookies necessary for login, preference cookies that remember your language and currency settings, and optional analytics cookies. You can decline analytics cookies from the cookie preference panel in the site footer at any time.

Email the policy desk with your account ID, a description of the dispute and any supporting evidence. We acknowledge within 24 hours and escalate unresolved disputes to our internal compliance review panel, with a written outcome issued within 14 business days.
